What's in a Name?
In October 1966 the Botanical Garden Committee spent $398.15 on a bench-top pantograph engraver from Cambridge, Massachusetts — and with it began the long work of putting a permanent name beside every plant in the gardens. The story survives in the letters, quotations, and invoices held in the HBS Reinke Archives.
