The Kids Hike Highlands Passport Challenge

On every trail labeled in purple on the map above, there is a riddle station that must be found. The stations will be a mailbox painted purple and will be located on the trail. Within each mailbox there will be a riddle that must be solved and written in the corresponding location on the map-side of this passport document.

When all four riddles have been solved, participants may pick up a special prize located at the following:

This program was initiated by the Highlands Plateau Greenway in 2018 as a way to encourage families to explore the greenway’s network of community trails and see the Plateau’s natural beauty through a town-wide scavenger hunt to find purple mailboxes equipped with kid-oriented nature riddles.
