Foundation Events
The Highlands Biological Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to supporting scientific research and providing free, nature-based education for our community on the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau.
We operate the Highlands Nature Center and offer year-round, free public programming for all ages, including daily activities, Nature Center Nights, the Zahner Conservation Lecture Series, and outreach programs like Nature on the Go! We also support scientific research in the region through grants, student opportunities, and targeted program funding at the Highlands Biological Station.
The events below bring our community together in support of this work, from free educational programs to fundraising events that help keep these opportunities accessible to all.
We are not able to host private functions in any Station facilities.
