Registration for Highlands Biological Station’s 2027 summer field courses opens on Friday, January 8. Spend a week or two in the southern Appalachians learning from working scientists, in the field and in the lab, at one of the most biologically diverse places in North America.
Spaces fill on a first-come, first-served basis, and you pay when you sign up. Browse the full course lineup, read about each instructor, and plan your stay ahead of time so you’re ready the moment registration opens. Housing is available for course participants.
